It aims to celebrating the culture and art of the world, improve the rich local life and promote intercultural exchange, Bellevue World TAIKO Festival shares the beautiful Japanese performing arts, culture and art with the community and produce the collaboration across countries through festival programs. The festival have held mainly in city of Bellevue and city of Seattle since 2014. ​Benefits of BWFT is support educational programs of victims / communities of natural disasters.

ベルビュー・ワールド太鼓フェスティバルは、美しい日本の舞台芸術、文化、アートをコミュニティで共有するとともに、国を越えた融合を図ることで、世界の文化・芸術を祝い、豊かな地域生活の向上と国境を越えた相互理解を深めることをミッションとし、2014年から米国ワシントン州ベルビュー市・シアトル市と周辺地域で開催されています。 BWFTの利益は、自然災害からの復興やコミュニティの教育プログラムを支援するために役立てることで地域に還元されます。


Bellevue World TAIKO Festival invites a group of Japanese traditional arts as the main guests, and through collaboration between local artists / groups  and traditional art groups other countries to realize exchanges between foreign countries and convey the appeal of Japan toward overseas.


Who We are

BWTF produced by Japan Creative Arts, also which provides The School of TAIKO as educational place of Taiko Drumming and more Japanese musical instruments based in Seattle, WA.   JCA/SOT founded 2009 by co-founder; Ringtaro Tateishi who performed with ONDEKOZA and EPCOT/Walt Disney World, FL and his partner Asako Tateishi who also performed at EPCOT.  BWTF is awarded project by City of Bellevue Arts Committee, Arts WA, 4 Culture, Art Works and Endorsed by Consulate General of Japan in Seattle.

ベルビュー・ワールド太鼓フェスティバル は 2009年からシアトル・ベルビューを中心として太鼓と邦楽のプログラムを提供している     ジャパン・クリエイティブアーツにより企画・運営されています。JCAは「太鼓の学校/スクールオブ太鼓」の母体であり、元鬼太鼓座のメンバーであり、フロリダのディズニーワールドで7年間にわたる演奏活動を行ってきた立石鈴太郎とパートナーの立石あさこにより共同設立されました 現在、太鼓の学校では80名程のメンバーが毎週の太鼓の稽古とコミュニティイベントでの太鼓演奏を楽しんでいます。
